Review of “Cars Galore” by Peter Stein

I have mixed feelings about this boardbook.  I love the colorful illustrations, and I love that it’s about transport and vehicles - for my car crazy 2 year old son.  Some of the rhymes are a bit far fetched as are some of the car designs - but then that’s the idea of the whole book - to be silly - like Dr Seuss style.  My two year old likes it, though I think half of the silliness is lost on him at this age - he will get it later.  Right now he just loves all the different color and style cars.  

I probably wouldn’t buy this again.  I bought this directly from Amazon so hadn’t seen it first but if I had I don’t think I would have bought it. It is just ok for me.  A bit too nonsensical.
