Review Of The 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferriss

Wow this book is AMAZING! It wasn't what I thought it would be but better! It's a referral book for so many interesting studies on human performance.  Ferriss appears to have dedicated his life to testing all sorts of theories and studies on himself regarding a whole selection of things from sleeping better and less, best types of exercise etc.  Everything is incredibly well documented.

There are so many topics in this book and it is all presented very much scientifically in depth - it is incredibly well sourced and researched.  I thought it was interesting how he gives lots of options for things which is realistic as different things may work for different people - so he's not just necessarily preaching one way on any of this.   I just can't imagine using everything in this book as I don't think I could remember it all - even though I know it would be to my benefit to do that probably.  Its like he's compiled so much information all in one place - like a one stop shop.

I want to try the kettlebell exercises for sure - and am already on his slow carb diet.  I love that he shows all the documentation and numbers for everything so you can really see how other normal people progressed quickly.

Overall I am very impressed with this book and look forward to trying out a lot more of the options.

Warning - it does have a graphic sexual part of it in the how to have incredible sex and longer orgasm's etc. Not for the faint hearted. Easy to skip though if not your thing.
