Review of 'It Will Be Okay Trusting God through Fear and Change' by Lysa TerKeurst

I must say the cover design and illustrations in this book are outstanding and drew me in straight away, giving immediate value to this stunning piece of art.  The story is really cute with an important message for little ones about not being afraid.  I love that the book starts off with memory verses also to teach children to help them remember that God is with them and they don't need to fear - great link to the Bible and practical application of the story.

Like other successful children's books, this uses repetition to bring home the fact that they are looked after and loved.  It's a story about a little seed in a seed packet scared to leave and be planted, and a little fox who is scared of shadows too. They become friends and living with the farmer and under his care they are freed to realize that they are safe and looked after all the time, that they don't have to be afraid.

A really cute story and I would definitely recommend it. It's good for children to be armed with scripture and have that deep knowing that God is with them and caring for them wherever they are. These are the kind of stories that can come to mind at those times to reassure them that they are okay.

Please note that Book Look sent me a complimentary copy of this book for review purposes however the opinions are entirely my own.
