Review of 'Baby, Baby!' by Diane Stortz

This sweet little board book is written by Diane Stortz and illustrated by Ailie Busby.

The cover has a small circular mirror in the top corner with the words 'A Mirror Book' as the last page features a mirror page for baby to look at itself.  It's a very simple book with really cute little illustrations that I think would appeal to little ones as they see things that are familiar to them such as a stroller, a bouncer, bathtub and eating.

I appreciated the rhyming pattern right up to the last page of rhyme before the mirror page where the rhyme of 'nods' and 'God' didn't quite work.  I would think maybe if they had put 'Baby smiles and gives a nod' to be followed by 'Baby's always loved by God' it would've been a bit more pleasing rhyme wise.  Minor details though.

It is a very cute little book and I think it would make a great gift for anyone you know with a baby or baby to come!
